1999 Moody 46

LAURINDA   is a Moody 46 built in 1999. A quality bluewater centre cockpit cruiser from a yard with a long pedigree of building well regarded offshore cruising yachts.

One owner from new, meticulously maintained to the highest standards and never chartered. Laurinda has always been sailed in the Eastern Caribbean, for little more than three months a year and always hauled and dry stored for the summer.

She has the standard layout with three double cabins and two heads. The master stateroom is aft with a centreline double berth and en-suite head with shower. Forward is another stateroom with a centreline double. A midships cabin with two sea berths and a pilot berth aft complete the accommodation.

Luxuriously equipped with electric heads and holding tank, corian worksurfaces in the heads and galley, and fitted out with a rich cherry interior and teak and holly sole. The galley contains a Force 10 propane stove, separate fridge and freezer, and a microwave. All the upholstery has recently been renewed.

Up on deck the sail handling of the cutter rig could not be easier, with in-mast furling, electric winches, a self-tacking staysail, and all lines led aft to the cockpit. When the need arises to leave the cockpit the wide uncluttered non-skid side decks make going forward a pleasure and aft there is a drop down stern swim platform.

With new standing rigging this season and fitted with a new diesel generator, watermaker, bowthruster, stainless steel davits,  and a comprehensive suite of new Raymarine electronics , Laurinda is one of the best equipped Moody 46’s ever launched.
